And, in connection with #1, the legacy plans don't have the same features as pre-version 10 since those features were dropped. #4 - They introduced new plans that cost more money than the now "legacy" plans (which cost the same). #3 - They really nerfed the features for the Free plan - especially limiting you to only two devices (and people getting locked out / not aware of that when it happens - not always good messaging there) (Again, the first release of Version 10 was the laggiest, but they've been improving in this area but have a ways to go still.) While I've seen reports of it running poorly on all devices, it seems like most of the complaints are on Android and M1 Macs. The previous versions were all native applications - running natively on the device and not through a web-based platform. ![]() #2 - Version 10 is not as responsive as the previous apps. They've been addressing bugs and adding back some of the features, but I don't think they are all coming back.) (Also, along with this, the first release of Version 10 was pretty buggy and lacked the most features. Evernote customers had been used to it working mostly the same way for a long time and now it was suddenly changed and lots of the things they relied on are now not there. ![]() ![]() Lots of features were dropped (and some new features were added). ![]() #1 - Version 10 drastically changed the functionality of Evernote. I'd answer the first question that it's because of (mostly) 4 reasons - and 2 of them are directly related to the Version 10 upgrade back in the fall of 2020.
